From the German state of Rhineland Palatinate near to the French border, all the way down to Australia, it's been quite the journey for Australian-born John, and his wife, Karin, a German national.

With a combined lifetime's worth of experience in destination marketing together with 11 years in Germany, ultimately resulting in the establishment of a highly successful hotel out of a 111 year-old heritage-listed building, the time was right to return to bayside Adelaide for the next chapter of their lives.

Returning to John's home of South Australia with their two twin boys in tow, the decision was made to introduce an Alsace delicacy into the lives and homes of everyday Australians. It's been an exciting journey, however it's only just begun. Ready to be part of our Flammekueche story?
