Flammekueche, also known in France as Tarte Flambée, and marketed throughout Europe under the brand Tarte Gourmet, is introduced into Australia and New Zealand by an Australian, John Greenslade and his wife, Karin, a German National.

In 2006 a company named Gusto Palatino was formed dedicated to the highly automated production of Flammekueche bases according to the traditional recipe without additives.

Flammekueche, traditionally a regional gastronomic product from the French German border Alsace region, is conquering the world!

The Flammekueche experience has expanded rapidly throughout Continental Europe and into export markets including the UK, Scandinavia, Canada, China, South Africa and Japan.

Tarte Gourmet Australia have available un-topped frozen bases and are seeking restaurant, cafe, event catering, winery cellar-door, hotel and beer-house operator partners as well as supplying the growing number of consumers with wood-fired or electric pizza-oven and BBQs with a stone-base equivalent capacity at home to try the new experience.
